He was predeceased by: his parents, George T. Tennis, Sr. and Sarah I. Tennis; and his brother Joseph Tennis. He is survived by: his wife Betty H. Tennis; his children, Petchy Denison (Robert) and Cathy Muela (Fred); his grandchildren, Terry Thomas and Julie Slater (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Alexis Slater, Jason Slater, Nevaeh Thomas, Shelby Thomas and Kelsey Thomas.
