With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendean Dyrud of Laurel, Maryland, born in Loving, Texas, who passed away on April 3, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Oleta Deering Cox and Malcolm Cox; her stepmother Elmina Schlittler Cox; her siblings, Oleta Roark (Cox) and John Schlittler; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Roark, Wally Frazer, Dr. Philip Furman and Carolyn Dyrud.
She is survived by : her husband Chester Dyrud (Chet); her siblings, Marlene Champion (Richard), Maxine Tucker (Charles), Betty Frazer and Willard Schlittler (LaDonna); her close friend Rosalie Wheatley; her goddaughters, Wendy Maynor and Anne Sparkman; and her sister-in-law Dr. Leola Furman of Maple Grove, MN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
