It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Earl Brown of Laurel, Maryland, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Brown; and his siblings, Paul, Bernie Brown and Elaine Ratcliff. He is survived by: his wife Lowanda Brown (Ingram); his sons, Chris and Keith Brown; his daughter-in-law Julie Brown; his grandchildren, Ashley Brown of Kent Island, MD, Kristen Brown Ghrist (Austin) of Kent Island, MD, Cassidy Brown of Kent Island, MD and James "Brent" Brown of Kent Island, MD; and his brother Ronald Brown. He is also survived by his family, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation, 4330 East-West Highway, Suite 230, Bethesda, Maryland 20814.

“Dear Lowanda and family, Jimmy was such a sweet guy and this is so hard to,accept. He was always smiling and always had a nice word for everyone. The only thing that consoles me is that he is no longer in pain, no more suffering in private. He can look down from Heaven and say it’s ok, I feel better and God is wonderful and Danny is singing and playing his guitar for me at my party! Please don’t be sad and grieve he will be waiting for you at the stairs when your time comes. Sending prayers 🙏”
