With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James W. Collins (Laurel, Maryland), born in Madison, West Virginia, who passed away on June 6, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Lucy Leizear; and his sister Sandra Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Colins; his children, Jimmy Collins, Rodney Collins, Jason Hensley, Deanna Collins and Lucille Collins; his stepchildren, James Mihovetz and Melanie Meredith; and his siblings, Johnny Leizear, Joseph Leizear, Patty Doubledee, Cheryl Sappington, Debbie Haggerty, Donna Kidwell and Stanley Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the LVFD in memory of James Collins.
