With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Foster Roberson (Laurel, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on March 20, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Roberson and Marie Roberson; and his nephew Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his children, Jeffery (Zulaikha), Keith (Andrea), James and Waverly; his siblings, Cheryl Swartz (Danny) and Thomas (Pat); his grandchildren, Violet and Alakai; his nephew Michael (Jillian); and his nieces, Lisa Torrence (James) and Jessica Pearre (Bryan).

“Our heartfelt condolences go to Jame's family. We grew up across the street from each other and saw each other daily. In the summer, we spent time playing kick the can, hide-n-seek, swimming, and getting up way too early in the morning to go crabbing at the river :) It seems like I just saw James yesterday at Danny's funeral, where we laughed, and he shared his family growth. That was really five years ago. Life is short, fly high, cousin - till we meet again. Gail Roberson-Friend and family”
