He is survived by: his children, John Murphy, Jr., Carolyn Grenman, Michael Murphy, Mark Murphy, Shawn Murphy and Sandy Weaver; and his sister Nan Newman. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
