It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Lee Young of Laurel, Maryland, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her father George; her children, Lester Young, Jr. (Jane), Mitchell Young, Michele Owens (Tom), Stephen Young (Tracy) and Tammie Marshall (Rick); her siblings, Jerry Ballenger, Judy Funkhouser, Peggy Graff and Sherry Hartung; her husband Lester Young, Sr.; her brother Thomas Anthony Ballenger; her daughter-in-law Kimberly Ann Young; and her grandson Caleb Joshua Young. She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren.
