She is survived by: her children, Derrick Gray, DeWayne Gray, Darren Gray and Datrice Afriye-Opoku (Gray); her children-in-law, Deborah Gray and Lawrence Afriye-Opoku; her grandchildren, Diana Afriye-Opoku and Edward Afriye-Opoku; her brother David L. White, Jr.; and her sibling's children, Danita White-Whitmire, David Whitmire and Shervonne Walker.
