She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Norton (Bryce) and Clyde Haley Norton; her husband Derek John Thiessen; her children, Jennifer Newman (Dennis), John Kenneth Thiessen (Simona Maggini) and Karin Thiessen; and her granddaughters, Kathleen Stuart (Doug), Julie Newman, Anne Newman and Rebecca Thiessen.
