Richard Theodore Burch Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Theodore Burch (Laurel, Maryland), who passed away on July 17, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Katherine Fisher Burch and Paul Randolph Burch. He is survived by: his brothers, G. David Burch, John Bayard Burch and Donald C. Burch; his family Virginia; his wife Janis Derry; his children, Andrew and Paula; his sister Mary Sharon Forsht-Tucker; his grandchildren, Helena and Peter; and his son-in-law Matt Marks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ted's name may be made to the National Audubon Society or the American Civil Liberties Union, or to your favorite charity supporting impoverished children.
