He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Lewis Nivison and Marshall Alexander Thompson; his children, Sally Anne and John Marshall Thompson (Joanna); his aunt Sara Nivison (Aunt Sally); his granddaughter Meghan Rebecca Bowman; his siblings, Mary Lewis Miller (Mary Lou) and Marshall Alexander Thompson Jr. (Tommy); his brother-in-law James Morrison; his wife Sonia Bohonis Thompson; his sister Anne Thompson Morrison; his sister-in-law Charlotte Thompson; his daughters, Connie Thompson Bowman (Rob) and Sara Anne Linsenmeyer (Steve); his grandchildren, Caroline Victoria Bowman (Austin), Robert Eugene Bowman III, Bridget Anne Linsenmeyer, John Stephen Linsenmeyer and Jennifer Rebecca Linsenmeyer; and his great grandchild Beau Baxter. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews.
