He is survived by : his wife Lynne Darring; his son Samuel Douglas Darring III; his granddaughter Kiana Monet Tuck; his siblings, Joan Beatrice Simmons and Jerry Earl Darring, Sr. (Brenda); his parents, Samuel Douglas Darring, Sr. and Violet Hines Darring; his children, Sheila Darring Tuck, Scott Damon Darring, Leah Darring Turner (Stephen) and Sergio Donté Darring; and his sister Carolyn Ann Ford (Alphonse). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
