It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velma Lee Williamson of Laurel, Maryland, who passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Josephine Elizabeth Brown and Wesley Thompkins; her former life partner Howard W. Grimes; her husband James Williamson (Jimmy); and her brother William M Stater.

She is survived by : her sons, Howard Grimes (Kathy), Alan Grimes (Joy) and Danny Williamson (Renee). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
