She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Elizabeth Brown and Wesley Thompkins; her former husband Howard W. Grimes; her husband James Williamson (Jimmy); and her brother William M Stater.

She is survived by: her sons, Howard Grimes (Kathy), Alan Grimes (Joy) and Danny Williamson (Renee). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
