He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Bowerman and Catherine H. Bowerman (Reiner); his wife Grace L. Bowerman (Stuppy); and his siblings, Clair, Mark, Carl Bowerman and Catherine Sener.
He is survived by: his sons, Dane E. (Margaret) of Mechanicsburg and John C. Bowerman (Tissiana) of Laurel, MD; his grandsons, Keith, Gerald, Zachary and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Logan, Grace and Jack; and his siblings, Joan Adams (Paul) and John "Jack" Bowerman (Joan).
