He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett I. Spiker and Mary Spiker (Rennie); his son Mark E. Spiker; and his siblings, Mary Rump, Helen Wolf and Daniel Spiker.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Spiker (McKenzie); his daughter Debbie Beeman (Aleck); his granddaughters, Stephanie A. Rowe and Alexa N. Stanley (Joe); his great grandchildren, Sean McKinley, Isaac Stanley, Cy Stanley, Gavin Rowe and Colin Rowe; his siblings, Dolores Kline, Betty Hoath (Ivan) and James "Champ" Spiker; and his close friends, Floyd and Judy Coakley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Rising Sun Lodge Knights of Pythias Lodge #86 (7 W Hanekamp St, Lonaconing, MD 21539). Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Calendar Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home (8 E Main St, Lonaconing, MD 21539). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
