With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Ellsworth Hosfelt Sr. of Lavale, Maryland, who passed away on November 13, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth L. Hosfelt and Violet Ruth Brown (Sullivan). He is survived by: his children, James Hosfelt, Jr. (Sherry), Melissa Mason and Timothy Hosfelt (Patty); his granddaughter Jenna Nevadunsky (Albert); and his children, Jacob Hosfelt (Michelle), Hayden Hosfelt, Nicholas Hosfelt (Madison) and Chase Hosfelt. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
