With sadness, we share the passing of Joan Maxine Willison of Lavale, Maryland. Joan, born on September 4, 1936, passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Henry McCoy and Susan Ida McCoy Mallow (Walter); her husband Gerald "Jerry" Willison; her daughter-in-law WyTonya Willison; her grandson Kenneth "Mitch" Willison; and her stepgranddaughter Kandyse Fontenot.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Willison (Donna (Gibson) Willison) and Pamela Hansel (Michael Winas); her granddaughter Jessica Winas; her son Bruce Willison; her grandchildren, Josh Willison (Amanda), Sarah Frazier (Philip), Brandon King, Travis King (Elizabeth), Colby Hansel (Brittany) and Nathan Willison (Kasey); and her stepgrandson James Vallery (Wendy). She is also survived by her 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Home (404 Decatur St, Cumberland, MD 21502).
