He was predeceased by: his parents, Peder Baasland and Gertrude Baasland (DeWitt); his daughter Melissa Baasland Rotruck; and his siblings, Keith Eric Baasland and Lois Beth Bonsignore.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Grace Baasland (Lewis); his sons, Ronald Baasland (Laura) of Salisbury, MD and Brandan Baasland (Sara Hammer) of Middle River, MD; his son-in-law Daniel Rotruck of Clearwater, FL; and his grandchildren, Gavin, Ruby, Quinn, Camilla, Violet and Gemma.
