He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander McCubbin and June Ford McCubbin; and his sister Carol M. Toole. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Riley McCubbin; his children, Mary Anne Johnson and Michael Eric McCubbin (Patricia); his brother Alex Michael McCubbin (Diana); and his grandson Trevor Alexander Johnson.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (25390 Maddox Rd, Chaptico, MD 20621).
