We announce the death of Danny Edward Reeves Sr. of Leonardtown, Maryland, who passed away on October 20, 2026, at the age of 74. Danny will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Reeves, Sr. and Margaret Virginia Kettner; his wife Sharon Lee Ryce Reeves; and his sister Dorinda Dement. He is survived by: his children, Danny Edward Reeves Jr., Brian Christopher Reeves, Elizabeth Melissa "Missy" Payne (Eddie), Brenda Sue Hill (Keith) and Thomas "Marty" Martin Johnson; his siblings, Helen Estelle Arminger (Wayne), Donald Richard Reeves and Debbie Taylor; and his close friend Melinda Russell. He is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home (22955 Hollywood Rd, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Charles Memorial Gardens (26325 Point Lookout Rd, Leonardtown, MD 20650).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Danny's name may be made to the Seventh District Fire Department, P.O. Box 206, Avenue, MD 20609 or the Seventh District Rescue Squad P.O. Box 7, Avenue, MD 20609.
