He was predeceased by: his father Leon Brian DuBois; and his brother Daniel Maynard "Dan" DuBois. He is survived by: his mother Nona A. Johnson DuBois of Bentley, LA.; his wife Sandy DuBois (Bernadette Marie); his daughter Emily Morgan Cox-Ziegler (Ronald); his stepdaughter Misty Meyer (Nathan); his grandchildren, Olivia Cox, Carter Cox, Tristan Gardner (Trent), Ethan James Meyer, Dakota and Peyton Ziegler; his great grandchild Halle Blake Gardner; and his brother Myron DuBois (Sheila).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home (22955 Hollywood Rd, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in David's memory may be made to the Navy and Marine Corps Relief Society and/or Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
