He was predeceased by : his father Palmer King, Sr.; his brother Charles King; his grandson Tyrique; his great-nephew Kendall; his great-niece Diamond; and his daughter-in-law Beverly Bolt-King.

He is survived by : his mother Anna King; his siblings, Michael King, Deborah Baker (Pat), Calvin King (Mary), Palmer King, Jr. (Margo), Marilyn King, Gloria King, Timmy King and Kenny King (Amy); his children, Eric King, Mike Dyson (Heather), Kandace Asher (Chris), Anise King and Lyndsaé King; his grandchildren, Kia, Kayla, Tylaéq, Tyleha (Twins), Alijah, Ivy, Tyree, Mesha, Mikah (Twins), Sanaa, Giavanni, Ethan, Titus and Trinity; his aunts, Suzie and Inez; and his close friends, Janice Steele and Foxx. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home (22955 Hollywood Rd, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
