We bid farewell to Gertrude Elizabeth Leresche of Leonardtown, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 14, 2026 at the age of 94. Gertrude touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Elizabeth (Gertrude Kling) and Gertrude Elizabeth; her siblings, William Kling, Dan Kling and Roseanne Maguin; and her husband Louis Paul Leresche.
She is survived by: her siblings, MaryLou Walsh, June Zuranski, Ray Kling, Nancy Biggin and John Kling; and her children, Peter J. Leresche, Stephen Leresche, Suzanne Leresche Walters, Michael Leresche, Elizabeth Leresche, Mary Leresche and David Leresche. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Betty's memory to Hospice of St. Mary's, P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
