He is survived by: his spouse Herdis Linda Burt; his daughters, Sabrina Burt and Tanya Tchinski; his grandchildren, Justin Andrew Juron, Jason Alexander Juron, Isabella Harlow Tchinski and Thomas James Waring; and his siblings, Michael Burt and Karen Steichen. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Second District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad in Valley Lee, MD in recognition of Jim's commitment to service.
