She was predeceased by: her parents, John Archibald "Archie" Hill and Raymond "Rae" Marie Oliver Hill; her sister Cynthia Rae Emerson; her daughter Debra Lynn Thompson; and her husband John Joseph "Johnny" Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, John Joseph "Jay" Thompson, Jr. (Sharon) of Avenue and Diane Marie Thompson (Stan Guy) of Avenue; her grandchildren, John Joseph Thompson, III (Jessica), Candace Nicole Thompson Nelson (Andy), Natalie Marie Thompson (Jason) and Leanne Grace Fenwick; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Thompson, Cooper Thompson, Danielle Nelson, Grace Nelson and Carson Guy.
