He is survived by: his children, Robin Cole (Joe) of Lusby, MD, Lindsey Hoffman (Todd) of LaPlata, MD and Lawrence Alvin "LJ" Hoffman, Jr. of Hollywood, MD; his grandchildren, Karmyn Hoffman, Kennedi Cole and Alayna Johnson; his close friend Melissa Jo "Missy" Jones of Avenue, MD; his siblings, Margi Connor (Rob) of Winchester, VA, Irene Anderson (Jimmy) of Winchester, VA, Aggie Laungayan (Noel) of Lexington Park, MD and Richie Currie (Nikki) of Lexington Park, MD; Megan Wathen of Leonardtown, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family.
