She was predeceased by: her parents, John Raymond Miller and Virgil LuRaine; and her sister Carole Lucille Steinhauer (Miller). She is survived by: her husband Bill; her sons, John Earle Jones (Amy) of Mechanicsville, MD and William James "Billy" Jones, II (Ana) of Hollywood, MD; her brother Ray Keith Miller of Myrtle Beach, SC; and her grandsons, Ethan Michael and Noah Matthew Jones.
