Barnes, Alice Barnes, William Rhody Barnes Jr. (Alice) and Florence Lurinsky (Mark); her aunt Catherine Dorsey; her children-in-law, Brenda Goldring and Marc Dion; her grandchildren, Marcel Dion, Andre Goldring, James Thomas, Shannon Smallwood and Natasha Curtis; her great grandchild Kyrie Curtis; her nieces, Florence Herndon (Mike), Brenda Barnes and Joy Lurinsky; her nephew Lester Barnes; her godson James L. Goldring; and her sibling-in-law J. C. Goldring (family: Gwen Strayhorn, Julia Reeves, Mary Jackson, Gertrude Ford, Claudette Holland, Agnes Marie Goldring, Thomas Goldring, Jr., Vera Goldring, Valerie Pointer). While at the Rock Creek Foundation Mary took classes and seminars at St. Mary's College. She retired from the Rock Creek Foundation in 2013.
