It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Rose Allen of Lexington Park, Maryland, who passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Blanche Rose leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry A. Huertaido and Jeanette L. Sampson; her husband Chester L. Allen; her son Michael A. August; and her stepdaughter Catherine L. Grassette.
She is survived by: her sons, William J. August and Matthew J. Allen; and her stepson Chester A. Allen. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
