He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Weir and Claire Cecile Weir (Lessard) of Chicopee, Massachusetts; his brother-in-law Gerald Patla (Gerry) of Chicopee; and his cousin Jean Bates (Snookie) of Westfield. He is survived by: his wife Maggie; his children, Peggy Dziewit (Paul) of Valley Lee, J. B. Weir (Kathryn Walker) of Roswell, Georgia and David Weir (Katie Dutton) of Annapolis, Maryland; his sister Patrice Patla of Chicopee; his granddaughters, Rebeckah Stanley of Denver, Edie, Frances Weir of Roswell and Caroline Weir of Annapolis, Maryland.; and his cousin Deb Hoyle of Conway. He is also survived by five nieces, four nephews.
