We announce the death of Roger Twigg Sr. of Linthicum Heights, Maryland, who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 84. Roger will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hallie Odell Phares (Ross Grandville Lewis) and Louis Edward Twigg; his daughter Tonia Yvonne Swick; his grandsons, Mitchell Swick and Jayden Dixon; his brother Willie Lewis; and his former wife Dorothy Yvonne Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane "Janie" (Hayes); his children, Louis Roger Twigg Jr. (Karen), Lawrence Ross Twigg Sr. (Amy), Andrew Laten Twigg (Megan), Mandy Nicole Twigg and Brian Miller; and his sister Pamela Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to his funeral fund at Ambrose Funeral Home.
