She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Emory Martin and Phyllis "Bunnie" Martin (Miller); and her son David Joshua "DJ" Davis. She is survived by: her husband David Smearman Sr.; her stepchildren, Tammy Kile (Roger), Elizabeth Arbogast, Cathy Jo Lindt (Dennis), David Smearman Jr. (Jessie), Henry Smearman II (Elizabeth), Cindy Smearman and Hannah Smearman; her daughter-in-law Michelle Davey; and her brothers, Melvin Martin (Kim) and Marvin Martin (Kimberly). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home (8 E Main St, Lonaconing, MD 21539). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
