She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Alene Lucas Allen; and her siblings, John H. Allen, Clinton L. Allen, Estelle M. Jackson, Edith O. Satterwhite, Peachie L. Brown and Rosa J. Cabell.
She is survived by: her husband Deacon John Chapman; her daughters, Gwen, Kathi, Kelley and Lynda; her grandchildren, Talithia, Kelvic, Dion, Leon, Chelsey, Sammy, Angel, Melody and Gabriel; her siblings, Deacon Carlton C. Allen and Dorothy Lee Jones; and also Dr. Derek T. Hawkins. She is also survived by her family, friends, brothers, and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of God Lothian (1228 Mt Zion Marlboro Rd, Lothian, MD 20711). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery (4001 Suitland Rd, Hillcrest Heights, MD 20746).
