She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry B. Gross and Sarah "Edna" Gross (Hall); her husband John W. Abel; her son Anthony; her brothers, James Howard and William Winfield Gross; her niece Barbara Hall; and her nephews, Kelvin Gross and James "Sonny" Howard Gross.
She is survived by: her daughter Eunice "Necee"; her grandson Tino; and her great grandchild Tyrique.
