He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. Cook and Vivian Cook (Harris); and his stepfather Walter Cook. He is survived by: his significant other Margaret Campanella (Peg); his children, William D. Harris (Gina) and Juliet Thomas (Seth); his stepchildren, Charles, Kenneth, Robert, Linda, Douglas and Anthony; his grandchildren, Zöe, Xavier, Ada, Lena, Grant and Hudson; his siblings, Barbara Lenkey (Robert), Beverly Parr (Nick) and Bonnie (late Steve); and his stepsiblings, Daryl Cook (Justine) and Cindy Deneale (Stephen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home (8325 Mt Harmony Ln, Owings, MD 20736). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (8816 Chesapeake Ave, North Beach, MD 20714).
