He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hugh Smith and Eunice Thomas Smith (Thomas). He is survived by: his children, Shirley Conway (William Conway) of Lusby, Maryland and Martin Smith (Caroline Smith) of Middletown, Delaware; his wife Myrna Eunice Rasmusen Smith of Lusby, Maryland; and his brothers, Evert Earl Smith and Cecil Howard Smith. He is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Olivet United Methodist Church (13575 Olivet Rd, Lusby, MD 20657). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
