He was predeceased by: his wife Annie "Nancy" Handy; and his siblings, Patricia Sila and Vincent Handy. He is survived by: his children, Anne Marie Handy and James Edward Handy; his daughter-in-law Lisa Handy; and his grandchildren, Logan and Madigan Handy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
