He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Rhoton and Viola Rhoton (Smith); his wife Betty Ann Rhoton (Hagan); his sons, Steve Grothe, John Grothe and Richard Grothe; and his pet Ladybug. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
