He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Benson and Beatrice Benson (Singer). He is survived by: his children, George Benson, Jr. and Tracey Benson Tenckhoff; his stepdaughter Jessica Zuretti Frey; and his grandchildren, Hannah Crane, Hunt Tenckhoff, Natalie Crane, Garrett Tenckhoff of Bailey Benson, A. J and Brooks Benson.
