We announce the death of Herbert Dixon Ritz of Manchester, Maryland, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 66. Herbert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Anthony and Irene Amelia Ritz. He is survived by: his wife Dodi; his children, Ashley, Zachary and Jeremy; his children-in-law, Tony and Carie; his grandchildren, Benaiah, Judah and Selah; his siblings, Joe Jr., Fred, Tom and Betsy; and his brother-in-law Dustan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel (3296 Charmil Dr, Manchester, MD 21102). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Grace Bible Church of North Carroll (3250 Charmil Dr, Manchester, MD 21102).
