He was predeceased by : his parents, Douglas I. Thomas and Mildred A. Crum; his daughter Theresa; and his brothers, Calvin and Herman Thomas.
He is survived by : his wife Grace Elizabeth Sanders; his children, James Douglas Thomas (Marsha) of Waynesboro, PA, Lorraine Ann Thomas (Robert Hoffert, Jr.) of Manchester, MD, Ralph Douglas Thomas, Jr. (Margaret) of Tumwater, WA, Rosie Thomas Wiley (Don) of Mt. Hood, OR and Shirley Davidson Sanchez of San Diego, CA.; and his siblings, Thelma Danigelis and William Carl Thomas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
