He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gretchen; his children, Kirsten Smith (Tyler) and Jesse Cook (Karlie); his brothers, Douglas Cook (Lynn) and Richard Cook (Bonnie); his siblings' children, Adam, Matthew, Shaun and Julie; and his parents, Walter Cook and Arleen May Lester Cook. He was also cherished by grandchildren.
