He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Murphy, Sr. and Lillian Murphy; his sister Sharon Powell; and his pet Lilly. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Murphy; his children, Tammy Stearns (Kevin) of Manchester, William Thomas Murphy, IV (Trisha) of Parkton, MD and Jason Murphy (Shawna Edwards) of Littlestown, PA; his grandchildren, Heather Stearns, Hunter Murphy, Tommy Stearns, Kaeleigh Murphy, Ashley Murphy, Colton Murphy and Justus Murphy; his great grandchild Waylon Ayres; and his siblings, Mary Kennedy of Severna Park, MD, Wayne Murphy of Mt. Airy, MD and Nancy Bourne of Augusta, WV.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home (934 S Main St, Hampstead, MD 21074). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
