He is survived by: his wife Sheila Murphy; his children, Tammy Stearns (Kevin) of Manchester, William Thomas Murphy, IV (Trisha) of Parkton, MD and Jason Murphy (Shawna Edwards) of Littlestown, PA; his grandchildren, Heather Stearns, Hunter Murphy, Tommy Stearns, Kaeleigh Murphy, Ashley Murphy, Colton Murphy and Justus Murphy; his great grandchild Waylon Ayres; and his siblings, Mary Kennedy of Severna Park, MD, Wayne Murphy of Mt. Airy, MD and Nancy Bourne of Augusta, WV.
