Catherine M. Adkins Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine M. Adkins of Mardela Springs, Maryland, born in Dagsboro, Delaware, who passed away on June 5, 2025 at the age of 32. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, William Collins, Earl E. Figgs and Helen Cousins-Figgs; and her aunts, Bambi Nilan and Brenda Showalter.

She is survived by: her parents, Colleen Murphy (Collins) of Dagsboro, DE and Allen Figgs (Denise Shupe) of Laurel, DE; her sister Sarah Murphy of Millsboro, DE; her grandmother Doris Collins of Dagsboro, DE; her parents-in-law, Gene and Linda Adkins of Salisbury, MD; her grandmother-in-law Sonny Adkins of Marion Station, MD; her uncle Dave Showalter of Dagsboro, DE.; and her sibling's children, Mykayla Howard of Millsboro, DE, Kylee Howard of Millsboro, DE, Madelyn Howard of Millsboro, DE, Luke Paris-Murphy of Millsboro, DE and Zach Figgs of Salisbury, MD. She is also survived by her canine companions and numerous cousins.
