We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2023, at the age of 88, Monte C. Winder Sr. of Mardela Springs, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Monroe Winder and Lillie Jackson Winder; his wife Gloria Winder; and his siblings, McClenit Winder, Coulburn Winder, Bannie Winder, Monroe Winder, Jr., Madeline Moore and Ellen Rae Nichols.

He is survived by : his children, Monte Carlo Winder, Jr., Debbie Gardner, Amanda Showell, Priscilla Midder, Sonya Showell and Michelle Holbrook; his siblings, Chester Winder, Sr. and Starmine Saunders; his niece Tyann Roberts; his close friends, Albert Sturgis and Bob Simpson; and his grandchildren, DaQuawn Winder, Luke Winder and Elijah Winder. He is also survived by other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
