He was predeceased by: his parents, John Manning and Beatrice Bradbury Honeycutt; his wife Lucy Lester Manning; and his siblings, Monte Manning, Ruby Shrewsbury and Louise Lester.
He is survived by: his son Gene "Speedy" Manning, Jr. (Kathy) of Severna Park; his grandchildren, Hailey Manning of Severna Park and Tyler Manning (Samantha) of Pasadena; and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Brannen and Gilbert Lester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
