It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nicholas Sterling of Marion Station, Maryland, born in Crisfield, Maryland, who passed away on April 30, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Fulton Waller Sterling and Dorothy Ward Sterling; his son Charles Jeffrey Sterling; his brother Fulton Lewis Sterling; and his half-brother Fulton "Tuby" Sterling.

He is survived by : his wife Emma Jane McMann Sterling of Marion; his siblings, Marie "Dinky" Laird of Marion, Judy Webster (Ted) of Wenona, Dixie Sterling (John Donohue) of Snow Hill, Frankie James Sterling of Crisfield and Donnie Chelton of Whaleyville; his friend Sterling Clough of Marion; and also Michael Vaughan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
