He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur S. Cosner and Bertha B. Cosner (Stagg); his wife Arlene G. Cosner; and his sister Juanita Fazenbaker. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Sue Smith, Lisa Diann Browning (Terry), Arthur N. Cosner, Jr. (Cindy) and William E. Cosner; his grandchildren, Artie Cosner, III (Kelly), Tyler Smith (Shaena), Aaron Browning (Lauren) and Carissa Gipe (David); and his great grandchildren, Maddie Cosner, Laken Cosner, Savannah N. Gipe, Sebastian L. Browning, Kai X. D. Gipe, Remy A. Gipe and Hailee E. Browning.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren (14904 Orchard Ridge Rd, Hancock, MD 21750). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Beaver Run Cemetery.
