He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris M. Gobbel (Wright) and Henry D. Gobbel, Sr. (Raised). He is survived by: his wife Gail Gobbel; his daughter Sheli Gobbel (David) of Mayo, Maryland; his siblings, John Gobbel (Laura) of Lake Butler and Kim Culver (Don) of Discovery Bay, California; and his granddaughter Kaydence Leach of Mayo. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 226 (840 Mayo Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037).
