He is survived by: his wife Janet Lee Ward; his children, Katelyn Lee Auld (Brad) of Mayo, Richard Donald Ward III (Laura) of Mayo and Michael Dixon Ward of Mayo; his siblings, David Ward of Mayo, Bobby Ward of Edgewater and Bea Ward of Annapolis; and his grandchildren, Brayden Auld of Richard Donald, Ward, IV, Maddox Ward and Rilyn Auld.
